Abstract The article is devoted to the history of the Department of Pathological Physiology at Saratov State Medical University. It highlights the formation and development of one of the oldest and fundamental departments at the university with its rich and famous history. Therefore it gives us an opportunity to follow the educational, scientific and creative work of its staff and succession of generations.
