The Babraham Institute is a charity which is world renowned for its research in life sciences that leads to new medicines and treatments for human diseases.

We are looking for a Postdoctoral Research Scientist to work in the laboratory of Dr Martin Turner. The successful candidate will develop methods for the expansion of pre-T cells building on work described by our laboratory (see Janas et. al J. Exp. Med. 2010 Jan 18;207(1):247-61). This will involve using FACS to sort immature T cells from the thymus. These will be cultured under various conditions and the ability of the cells to expand and differentiate will be assessed by flow cytometry.
